Wenn is wearing permanent tatoos. It is the tradition for every artisan from the Makers city to have tatoos according to their activity. They usually complete it with time. At the beginning, Wenn only had the tatoos of his cheecks.
Wenn's tatoos represent straps, a very discreet and modest way to depict his job of saddler.
What do they usually use, to make the tatoos? It must be painful, to have them on his face. But they certainly give him an interesting look.
Mmh, this is a good question. I am doing researches about local plants to see what my little people can really use as food, medecine, dyes, etc, but I have even less time to do searches than to draw... orz
