Description
I can't help thinking of these insects of light as mushis (from "Mushishi", you MUST watch this serie if it's not done yet !), some kind of very primitive forms of life, close to being the source or energy of life itself. Some might act like or influence on natural elements, and only those who care to watch closely can enjoy their reality... Well, this owl does care but maybe with too much interest... XD;
(I wish I could do a serie of little illustrations for each episode of Mushishi one day...)
Anyway, once again, I liked a lot the idea but I couldn't put it on paper and I fought all along. It's okay, I begin to be used to these fights, I guess it's part of the process of painting. ^^'

I'm going to be moving further North in the spring to a area of Canada known for their beautiful night skies. Even though the grow season is short, and will make for a lot of in door gardening. I can't wait to live under the Northern lights. I'm dreaming on the bonfires and night that will be held under a dancing sky.
This image is absolutely stunning. From the details on the owl's feathers to the subtle pink glow of the insects wings. The control you have with those bushes in both knowing the right amount of water to use, as well as overall technique and pressure are all tip top. This would make a fabulous greeting card.
